6 Benefits of the Integrated Ecosystem

In the living world, nothing exists in a vacuum. Even if it doesn’t look like it, everything works together and forms a broad system – the ecosystem. We can (and must, in fact) apply this concept of integrated ecosystems to technology as well. It’s the age of big (and getting ever bigger) data, and everything that’s not connected at present will be linked together.  That’s why the ecosystem is the right metaphor for what’s been emerging in business. Game Night Just got a Little More Interesting!

*Please note that Etelesolv changed its company name to Cimpl in 2016. Technology is constantly evolving and the level of connectivity enabled by mobile applications is becoming more all-permeating each and every day. The ability to bring individuals to places they’ve never been or show them sights they’ve never imagined seeing is one such technological capacity whose increasing reach continues to impress. A powerful example would be how technology has changed the way we watch hockey.   On the hockey season’s opening night last week, 55,000 hockey fans tuned in via livestream (via one single platform); a cumulative total of 1.9 million minutes of hockey gameplay was watched this way. Three quarters of the viewers watched this stream in more traditional format – from their homes. Meanwhile, the remaining quarter streamed the game using their tablets and mobile phones. The average amount of time that was viewed per fan totaled 51 minutes. That’s a huge block of time given how quickly people tune out of other programming.
