Major Retailer Picks Cimpl to Cut Telecom Costs (and Work Smarter)

The right medicine: Starting the New Year by expanding the Cimpl family

It’s only the first work week of 2015, and the year is already off to a very good start! We are very proud to announce a new customer: A major Canadian drugstore retailer has chosen Cimpl to manage their wireless and wireline services in their chain of 1000 stores! 

Drugstore Chain_UPDATED.pngThis agreement will cover telecom expense management services for telecom assets that the retailer holds at its drugstore locations spread across all of Canada’s provinces. In addition, Cimpl will assume responsibility for managing the wireless and wireline services at the retailer’s dozens of clinics, luxury beauty salons, and health support networks. 

This pharmacy chain is a very successful company with billions in annual sales. They clearly know how to do business, and it speaks highly of our services that they chose Cimpl to be part of their winning formula. 

 

Success attracts more success

It should be said that things don’t happen in a vacuum. The drugstore chain actually already had telecom expense management services from another provider when they decided to sign on with us for 2015. The reason why this drugstore chain chose Cimpl was because their leadership saw the expert consultation and cost savings that we provided one of their partners.

Apparently, our reputation had preceded us. We had done (and continue to do) such a good job for another firm (by finding and delivering thousands in telecom expense savings each month), this other firm actually championed our services to the drugstore chain with great enthusiasm. We were then called in to executive meetings, where our representatives gave many practical demonstrations of Cimpl’s valuable services.

Because the drugstore retailer was in a period growth, their management was in search of better cost savings in telecom management and a way to work smarter. Their leaders were consistently impressed with our professionalism, offerings, and proven track record. They saw that Cimpl’s services and business process automation were key to several important goals:

  • Cut telecom costs
  • Encourage accountability
  • Stretch IT budget

And that sealed the deal.
