Text files with one lump of text where charges can barely be told apart. Paper invoices in the mail with unexplained charges. Indecipherable database files with cryptic codes indicating a charge type. Specialized programs required in order to extract invoice data.  Does any of this sound familiar?

Anyone who has had to collect information from Telecom providers has seen first-hand how the differences in formatting and even from one carrier to the next can cause a mess in trying to interpret company-wide data. Further, just collecting all this information – especially when needing to deal with anywhere from three to twenty different carriers – can prove very time-consuming and difficult to manage, much less trying to bring it all together in one coherent, clear location.

But it doesn’t stop there, either.  Once the data is brought together, it becomes much easier to see if any problems arise within the billing data.  Should there be a sudden shift in the billed amount from one month to the next, we make sure to confirm that the data is correct, and make sure that you’re aware of it.  After all, if your usage rises to $10,000 from $1,000 from one month to the next, we’re certain you’ll want to know right away!  Alternately, you might find out that you aren’t being charged the agreed-upon rates for some particular situation, and after all, the first step toward solving a problem is knowing that there’s a problem in the first place. We collect all the information (digital copies of invoices, database files, excel spreadsheets, etc.) made available by each provider, and then bring it all together in one place – and in just one format – in Cimpl. In doing this, the various data-reporting tools available will present all this data in a very user-friendly way, skipping the headache of sifting through the data from several different Telecom providers.

Once all this is gathered and verification of data integrity – not just pricing but inventory as well – is done, it is all loaded into the server and verified again.  With this, you can now have all the data in one place and in one format, knowing that its integrity has already been verified, making analysis much easier and less stressful. It’s like being handed a folder containing all your invoices, labeled and sorted, instead of having all of them dumped on your desk from the back of a truck. 

After you centralize, you rationalize. Once all the information is gathered in one place, it becomes a lot easier to drill through it all and see what should and should not be there. In one way of looking at it, under normal circumstances it can be like finding a needle in a haystack.
