A Canadian Hotel Leader Benefits From Wireline Expense Management

Posted by Henry Cheang | October 14, 2015 5:45 PM

One of Canada’s largest hotel chains is expanding, and they’ve decided that they needed a fellow Canadian leader to manage their wireline expenses. That’s right; Cimpl is this hotel’s provider of choice to bring their telecom expenses under control.

So, what can we tell you about this latest member of the happy Cimpl family?

This chain owns and manages dozens of hotel properties and resorts across North America. One of the company’s key strengths is that it strives to offer its guests unique experiences across its different hotels as opposed to having a standardized experience from branch to branch. They are dedicated to providing top-flight services and exceptional experiences for regular travelers and curious explorers. The hotel chain’s devotion to giving customers excellent service is one feature that it shares with Cimpl, and is part of the reason why partnering with us is such a good fit.

Helping a hotel chain save money as they continue to grow

The hotel’s formula has clearly worked for them. They have been growing extremely swiftly of late. More to the point, it is very likely that the organization will at least double in size over a very short time frame. There are, obviously, benefits to ensuring exemplary guest satisfaction.

What is the hotel chain’s benefit in reaching out to Cimpl?

At their current size, the hotel chain already has many IT and telecom assets that need professional management. After all, a staff pool with approximately 1000 employees spread across Canada and the United States will use a great many services and devices. Without proper management, those assets will take a toll on the bottom line.

The hotel’s desire to ensure that IT and telecom usage is optimal for their business needs is the precise reason for which they reached out to us. Going forward, Cimpl will offer the hotel chain our Premium tier of managed services. In practice, what that means is that we’ll be managing the hotel’s many wireline assets.

What’s more, wireline management should just be a point of departure. In discussions between our own top executives and the hotel’s leadership, the next steps would include the evaluation of using our services to manage their IT assets and licenses (such as Office 365).

Complex organization structures really need IT and telecom management

“Every large organization benefits from IT and telecom expense management,” said Cimpl's Vice-president of Sales and Marketing. “This is especially true of companies who go out of their way to offer unique experiences to all their customers across their many branches. Inevitably, assets become structured in a complicated way throughout the organization. Without expert handling, the transparency of the expenses is lost, and costs will skyrocket. By partnering with Cimpl, our latest customer will maintain full visibility of their wireline expenses, keep costs down, and ensure a smoother path to their growth.”

This latest partnership is a part of Cimpl’s continued and increasing impact in driving success for Canadian giants. Stay tuned to see who else we’re helping this year; many more customer success stories are on their way.
