Employee's are Driving BYOD Employees aren’t patient enough to wait around for the company to form committees to decide what technology to invest in while all of their competitors are walking around with the latest tablets, pdas, and mac book airs. They are not interested in attending training sessions to learn complicated technologies that don’t sync up to their contact lists, and itunes accounts. In addition, SaaS and cloud-service providers are making the provisioning of IT services so easy and accessible that the users often bypass IT to gain access to the productivity tools they need (or at least, think they need).

They had high monthly capital expenses incurred by trying to pay off fixed on-site infrastructure and monthly licensing fees. In addition, they were finding it costly to support and was not agile enough to keep up with their business needs.
