I recently read an interesting humour statement that asked: "How do you know you are paying too much for your home phone?" Answer: “You have a home phone”. Do you know how much are you paying for your mobile phone, office phone, service on your tablet, PC, internet, and the staggering list of employee dependant devices used on a day to day basis? Let’s now raise the ceiling a little and look at this from an organization’s view point... Recent statistics show that the average number of devices carried by mobile workers is around 3.5 devices and is expected to grow even higher moving into 2013 and beyond. It should also be noted that this statistic is a mobile device tally and does not take into consideration the fixed work assets that these employees may have such as PCs, printers, faxes, etc. How much is it costing you on a global scale and how do you (if you do) keep track?  Are you fully aware of what you own, who has it, how much it costs, and equally important, do you really need these services?
