Why Are Premium TEM Softwares Built With HTML5? (VIDEO)

Posted by Henry Cheang | September 17, 2015 11:30 AM

Welcome to #CimplVision.

Today's topic: We explain why HTML5 is preferred when it's time to build premium Telecom Expense Management software.

The transcript:

Hi, I’m Henry and today I’ll answer the following question:

Why do we use HTML5 in our next generation TEM software?

Well, traditional web applications built with the previous standard, HTML4, use browsers as a display device only – they would have to grab data and finished outputs from a server.

HTML5, released last year, allows web browsers to become applications by themselves. When an HTML5 application is loaded, everything is computed inside the browser in order to give users accurate data and outputs very quickly. With HTML5, servers only have to send raw data; the rest is done by the app. It’s a BIG advantage!

Hope that helped! See you next time on #CimplVision.
