Cimpl’s Holiday Video is Here to Celebrate the Season & Our Core Values

Posted by Henry Cheang | December 15, 2014 3:30 PM

*Please note that Etelesolv changed its company name to Cimpl in 2016.

The holiday season is on its way! Many of us are doing our holiday shopping and getting ready to spend quality time with friends and family! Here at Cimpl we love the holidays and try to spread goodwill and cheer both inside and outside of the company. This year we  collected non-perishables for families in need for the Christmas4aCause Initiative. We also had a wonderful Kids Christmas Party right at the office. The North Pole came to Cimpl, and Santa Claus (not-so-secretly our very own Operations Team Lead, Gian Carjaval) handed out gifts to 33 of the children of staffers. Beyond that, the company office party was a raucous and rocking blast. We certainly lived up to our core value of “Fun and Family”.

Besides celebration, it’s also a time of reflection, gathering with loved ones, and expression of gratitude. We are thrilled of with our recent achievements and would love to thank all those who have helped us attain our goals in 2014. Cimpl ranked for the second straight year on the 50 Best Small and Medium Employers; we also earned spots on the PROFIT 500 as well as the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 and Fast 500 lists. The media has also taken notice; we have been very regularly featured in newspapers and magazines. 2014 was a very good year for Etelesolv, and we couldn’t have done it without you!

To say our thanks (and to showcase our company’s cultural diversity), many of our employees got together to create a holiday video that wishes everyone well. In the video, you can see Etelesolv employees sending their best wishes in over 15 languages. This really should give insight into the different cultures peacefully commingling under Etelesolv’s roof.

We come from more than 30 different countries and we speak over 22 languages. At Etelesolv, almost 40% of us are polyglots (that means we speak at least 3 languages); more than 90% of us are at least bilingual. And we keep attracting more of this diversity; the number of Cimpl employees has more than tripled between 2008 and 2014! We regularly fete this diversity by hosting special cultural awareness events (including an international potluck); this will continue well into the future, and we can’t wait!
