Cimpl Hosts a LinkedIn Event

The Big Event

Last week, Cimpl welcomed more than forty participants to an event organised by LinkedIn, the professional network. The purpose of this event was to bring together professional recruiters who are active on LinkedIn for a day of training and network exchange.

At the beginning of the session, Christopher Thierry, president of Cimpl, gave an overview of the highlights of our company. He talked about our history, our mission, the products we’ve built, the honours we’ve won, and our growing presence in the media. Of course, Christopher also spoke about the key behind our success: The employees! As a matter of fact, he was very proud to touch on the cultural diversity which forms such an integral part of Cimpl’s identity.

Of course, hosting such an event requires a great deal of preparation, and everybody put the shoulder to the wheel. Among other things, we reorganised the Disconnect Room so each participant could have his or her own workspace, and our IT department contributed by installing a high-quality projector (that displayed presentations and video on a presentation wall two stories high). All employees also graciously agreed to free up the parking spot for the visitors (even though it meant walking under bad weather!), and some even took care of welcoming our guests.

Because the event took place in the morning, participants were treated to muffins, croissants, and, most especially, coffee! It was quite a warm welcome, and thanks to everyone’s participation and collaboration, it proved to be a great success! Our guests quickly noticed our office’s friendly atmosphere as well as the quality and the functionality of our new facilities. One of them even mentioned that she would love to work for us! Now that says a lot!

The large number of similarly-positive comments that we’ve received following this LinkedIn event encourages us to keep on increasing our public visibility and to keep on showcasing our core values and our corporate culture. We are indeed very proud to present our company during such events! This type of partnership not only gives visibility to Cimpl, our telecom expense management platform, and our partners, it also allows us to meet businessmen and businesswomen from various fields – all of which sets the stage for building rich, new collaborations.
