Cimpl - A New Member of the MO Movement

Cimpl joins Movember

Men (and women!) at Cimpl take position this year by participating for the first time in the 7th edition of  Movember global charity.

It is with great enthusiasm that Cimpl males will grow a mustache and vital funds and awareness are raised to combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges.

Why join Movember? To be like everyone else? No. Just because awareness, solidarity and innovation are universal principles that we share with Movember, among others. 

Awareness of men's health

Maybe less publicized, men's cancer and mental disorders are not any less deadly than women's ones. This event not only focuses on to educate the media, but also to bring men's attention on their own health. This annual campaign also contributes to finance projects and research programs dedicated to men's health.

Male solidarity

First Mo Bros and Mo Sistas appeared in 2003 in Australia and the family has expanded in 21 countries ever since. In 2012, the global participation has reached 1.1 million, including 247,000 Canadians! C$146.6M were collected globally last year, including C$42.6M for Canada. This year, with the help of the Cimpl's family, we hopefully spread the mustache over more members to help the Movember movement to beat its previous record.

Male innovation

How works Movember? First, simply register on the website alone or with others fellows. Then, starting November 1st, the Mo Bros should start the month clean-shaven to gradually grow a mustache throughout the month. Finally, to support this effort, family and friends of these gentlemen make donations to the foundation. A very original way to encourage charity, but with a man's pride wearing a mustache.

Since she joined Cimpl, her successful marketing campaigns have increased the company’s online and community presence, in addition to Cimpl’s footprint and appearances in new or traditional media (such as the Globe and Mail). Caroline is a specialist in communication and social media. She works closely with analysts to keep track of and adapt to the trends and changes in the industry of IT: Technology Expense management, IT cost optimization, Technology trends. Her leadership conducts Cimpl’s marketing team toward ever greater achievements. Caroline is also an exemplary citizen. Outside of work, she is involved in TEMIA, the Dorval Day Camp, and other community organizations. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from Concordia University and a Master Certificate in Integrated online Strategies from the University of San Francisco Intensive Development program.
