Customer Testimony: Jodie Paradis, Credit Manager, CBCI Telecom, Montreal, QC

We have been using Cimpl’s “Telemanager” (TME for short) for about a year now and what a great tool it is!

Before we were set up with TME, I would receive our summarized Bell Mobility invoice (200 pages) and it would take me the better part of a day to go through it. If I wanted to view the detailed version of the invoice to check the call log for a certain line, it would take at least 5 minutes to download 1 user’s detailed invoice on carriers’ website. Now with TME, all I have to do to view those details is click on “view invoice details” and within a few seconds, the information is on my screen.

I used to filter through all the pages of our paper invoice, line by line looking for any overages on long distance, texting and data. Once overages were found, I would then have to scan the users invoice and send it to their manager to advise them that their employee had gone over their plan and that they would be charged back. Now, each user receives an email with a link that leads them to their own invoice each month which included the details. With one click of my mouse all 90 users receive their invoice. No more scanning or making copies. I can even set up the system so that their manager is automatically cc’d.

In order to distribute the cost of our mobility invoice to the appropriate GL’s (departments), I would have to enter each users sub-total and tax break down on an excel spreadsheet. With TME, all that information is just a click away. No need for me to manually enter the information.  The spreadsheet that TME is able to produce even pinpoints any overages in a separate column that is highlighted to catch my attention.  Now what used to take me a day, takes me about an hour.  TME is saving us money in so many ways. It helps us catch overages that could have been missed had we gone through the bill manually. We are able to see the patterns of overages; this lets us know that perhaps the user is not on the correct plan and that their accounts need to be reviewed. Maybe the user needs to be educated on how to use their device more efficiently.

I can see what device each user has, there is a chart on my “dashboard” that shows me how many Blackberry’s, iPhones or Air cards we have. On the dashboard I can also see our monthly spending for the past 12 months. I can see our top 10 users for spending, broken down into categories of texting, data usage and talk time. With all this time saved, I have been able to send out “tips and tricks” emails to all of our users. Each email I send out has little helpful tricks on how to save even more money on our phone bill. For example, the iPhone users can ask Siri to find a phone number for them instead of paying $2.50/411 request. This tip alone will save us hundreds of dollars a year.

Thank you Cimpl for creating such a wonderful tool!
