I am writing you to give you my Christmas wish list.
My company has been very good this year.
Our workforce increased by 20% over last year while creating many new opportunities internally for many of our employees. This of course resulted in the creation of new departments, the redistribution of personnel & assets throughout the organization.
We were also wise and equipped our entire sales force with tablets and wireless devices to make them more efficient and competitive in their respective markets.
Our involvement with the community has grown and we have really become role models in our sector.
Of course with expansion and growth, we find ourselves facing many new and growing challenges with managing our resources internally. In concentrating on our growth, we have lost sight of some very important areas such as cost control, inventory management, policy enforcement, employee & asset tracking, monthly invoice processing & verification.
We have become rather delinquent in consistent and easy to understand reporting to the various levels of our organization. It would seem that employee ownership and accountability has dropped.
In order to keep up with demand and process, we have become rather lax with some of our internal policy, privacy and security enforcement.
As a result, we no longer have the time to re-establish order or begin to tackle such a task. We would need help in taking back control; however we need to reduce and eliminate any manual processes to do this as our resources have spread thin.
I guess what I am asking for Christmas is Cimpl!
I know there are many of you out there who find themselves in the same situation as our friend reaching out to Santa.
